K-12 & College TUTORING

Individual instruction is offered to students from kindergarten to college.  Several subject areas, as well as support with difficult schoolwork, can be combined in a students’ personal learning program.  Programs can include:

  

Reading Tutoring

Areas of focus can include decoding, phonics and reading fluency.  Reading comprehension, reading rate and vocabulary are also important areas of instruction.

For students in middle school, high school and college, instruction and homework support is offered in pre-algebra, algebra 1 & 2, trigonometry, precalculus, calculus, and statistics.
For younger students, support and skill development is offered in all areas of math, including fact mastery, computation, fractions, decimals, and problem solving.

Writing Tutoring

Students learn the writing process - from generating and organizing ideas through the editing phase.  Students master proper sentence and paragraph structure, as well as mecahnics and grammar skills.
